How do we engage users on an ongoing basis?
From 2017 to 2018, the number of people using the Google Assistant skyrocketed around the globe. Problem was, many had no idea they were walking around with unlimited AI potential in their pockets—and in their homes. They needed someone to show them that all that power was just a few words away.
So we set out to build a global CRM program that’s as smart as the AI platform itself. Our highly dynamic, geo-targeted, biweekly newsletters inspired users to get the most out of their Assistant. The results? Weekly product usage significantly increased. Open rates continued to impress, and we saw an unprecedented spike in daily active usage of new features. And we found that users value our newsletters as much as their Google Assistant.
